Have you taken this into account: the Thrown Knife proficiency allows you to throe Dagger, Knife, Main Gauche, Stiletto, Kard, etc? Essentially all forms of knife. There is an irregularity that needs to be called an 'attribute' the "Knife" attribute, thus, any weapon with the Knife attribute can be used as a thrown knife. For that matter "Threown" attribute might be good as well. You need a knife flag as well. that way you can ref. knife to determine elligibility of WP and WS.

In the list of skills that drops down as the PRerequisites list, Zen Archery apperas like this: Zen Archery Set SKRS = Nothing... what the hell does that mean?

The ZEN SKCrap can be corrected easily enough. I'll address that when I figure out exactly where you came across it.

As for the knives, I'm confused. All knives have the potential to be thrown, that is correct. All weapons that can be thrown effectively have a THROWN flag set to YES. If a body wants to be able to throw all manner of crap at his enemies, he should pick up GP: Thrown Weapons. Problem solved.

But I don't think that was your point. Can you rehash? It was a bit muddled.

I could, if I wanted, add "Kard" to the list of weapons... then I'd have to give it the "Knife" attribute. This would include it in the thrown weapons catagory and in the everyman catagory. Understand? In essence, this would automatically put it into these catagories and give it the attributes of those things so that your weapon handlers will assign correct tohits and such, depending on a character's havint thrown weapns or not.

You should be able to just add the weapon weapon, make it THROWN, make it an every man skill, and yer done.
